This month, ERA Film Studios was honored to attend the Ukraine Freedom Summit in London, in solidarity with global leaders, policymakers, and advocates in unwavering support of Ukraine.
The Ukraine Freedom Summit convened courageous voices and visionary thinkers, reaffirming the resilience of the Ukrainian people in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression.
In the Cold War, President Ronald Reagan championed the doctrine of “peace through strength,” a belief that lasting security and diplomacy are best achieved from a position of confidence, resilience, and power. Today, President Donald Trump carried this same message into the modern era, reinforcing the idea that America’s ability to negotiate, protect its interests, and deter conflict rests on unwavering strength at home and abroad.
The principle of “peace through strength” continues to endure, resonating across political and cultural landscapes as nations face new challenges. It serves as a reminder that stability is not the absence of struggle but the presence of resolve, leadership, and the willingness to defend peace with strength.
Ukraine Freedom Summit 2025 was a global gathering to support Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom and Rebuild Its Future. The Annual Ukraine Freedom Summit is an exclusive, high-impact event where leaders, innovators, and investors unite to accelerate Ukraine’s victory in the ongoing war, support its veterans, and champion the country’s post-war reconstruction. This year, we gather in London to forge new partnerships, share groundbreaking defense technologies, and make lasting contributions to Ukraine’s recovery. - Borderlands Foundation
The Summit featured powerful contributions from former Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Lt. General H.R. McMaster of the Hoover Institution.
Their remarks were both galvanizing and insightful, emphasizing the urgent need for unity, vigilance, and strategic clarity, as were the inspirational stories of the brave heroes of Ukraine.

Innovation as Remembrance: ERA’s Commitment to Ukraine
At ERA, we believe storytelling and technology are twin forces for remembrance, education, and global unity. In solidarity with Ukraine, we are initiating exploratory research into immersive VR experiences that could preserve stories of resilience, courage, and the enduring human spirit and support the War Effort with experiences and simulations.
This initiative builds on our landmark project, “Once Upon a Time in Britain” - the UK’s first VR feature film. “Once Upon a Time in Britain” reimagines historical memory through immersive storytelling, offering audiences new ways to engage with the past and reflect on the present.
By expanding this vision to include Ukrainian narratives, we hope to develop transformative VR experiences that honor those on the front lines while educating global audiences about the true cost and necessity of peace through strength.

Following the Summit, ERA also attended the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Artificial Intelligence at the UK Parliament.
The evidence session, AI in Military and Defence: Shaping the Future of National Security and AI-enabled Weapons in the UK, offered critical insights into how artificial intelligence is reshaping defense strategy, national security, and ethical frameworks for future warfare.
