CREATING A NEW ERA

2015 TO 2019

ONE OF THE FIRST EVER VR HORROR EXPERIENCES

Creators of the Egomaniac VR Experience, the first British Horror VR film experience in 2015 by Sidney Malik and The London Crypt. Egomaniac premiered at Frightfest Film Festival in Leicester Square London and was later distributed on VOD on Amazon Video and iTunes.

Featured in The Observer as part of a series on a new golden age for female horror filmmakers. Egomaniac VR was a Virtual Reality experience accompanying the feature film, aimed to highlight the need for greater representation in horror films in our twisted take on exploitation horror films.

VIRTUAL REALITY EDUCATION

An early innovator in Virtual Reality Events and Education, I captained, created, supported and marketed many of the earliest and most influential British Virtual Reality Immersive Event Experiences and events since 2015.

Delivered an educational series of sessions for business professionals with a strong foundation and introduction to immersive technologies available and how business today are incorporating extended reality into the workplace.

INNOVATING VIRTUAL REALITY FILM

From The Cinema Museum to Regents University, we hosted immersive education Events, immersive storytelling workshops and events to different venues across the UK and delivered educational courses, provided live demonstrations and talks on a variety of extended reality initiatives.

Creators of the Kubrick XR Archive Project, Created in a collaborative, academic effort to illustrate how pioneers of the past in cinematic storytelling can help shape the future of film in Virtual Reality film, Sidney and ERA Film Studios led the project from inception to exhibition.

Proud supporters of VR Preservation, we have created and curated the VR past, present and future, with the VR ERA collection. The first global undertaking of a comprehensive international collection of historical artefacts, documents, scientific, technological and cultural items from the entire history of Virtual Reality.
